Our mission is to share the unconditional love of God, to nurture the faith of believers, and to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ.
Shipham Parish Church was built in 1843 on the site of a smaller, mediaeval church. It is unusual in having an octagonal castellated bell-tower, and an impressive nave roof supported by arch-braced queen post trusses. The tower houses a peal of six bells. One of the stained glass windows commemorates Hannah More, a local philanthropist. The church is Grade 2 Listed, and was extensively re-ordered in 1986. Take a look at some of our activities:
