Mobile Library

Somerset Libraries provide a four-weekly Mobile Library service of over 200 stops in rural locations in Somerset.

To use the service, you just need to be a member of Somerset Libraries. You can join by completing a membership form and providing proof of identification (recent utility bill or driving licence). You will be issued with a membership card, which can be used in any Somerset library.

Wheelchair access is available on all mobile library vehicles.

The Mobile Library carries a wide range of books, including children's titles and large print editions. Books can be ordered on the visit or on-line and collected. The borrowing period is eight weeks rather than three at an ordinary library.
