Lenny's Coffee Shop
"The little café with a big heart"
"The little café with a big heart"
Lenny's Coffee Shop was started in 1997 by members of the nearby St Leonard's Church. It was community-run by volunteers from the village, and was non profit-making. All profits went to charities suggested by the volunteers.
In its former life, Lenny's was a butcher's shop, and was probably the smallest coffee shop in Britain.
Due to a change of ownership of the adjoining cottage, the coffee shop had to close. Plans to reopen the cafe in church are underway.
Lenny's Warm Spaces, Warm Hearts Cafe
Lenny's cafe will be opening for light lunches and delicious cakes on alternate Fridays from 11.30 to 2.00 in the Village Hall. A warm friendly place where you can come to meet and make new friends. Everyone is very welcome.
