Forthcoming events in Shipham and the nearby villages
Somerset Choral Society
Start of Autumn Term 2022
Somerset Choral Society will begin the new term with a “Come & Sing Faure Requiem” on Saturday 3rd September starting at 10:00am in the new Cheddar Catholic Church Community Hall, Tweentown BS27 3HU and invite Singers from all choirs in this area to join them.
This will be followed by the first formal rehearsal of the Autumn Term on Wednesday 7th September at 7:30pm in the same venue.
The music this autumn will be the much loved “Faure Requiem” so new members from all voices (SATB) will be welcomed to join them; there are no auditions and scores are provided.

Group Exhibition
For those of you familiar with the group of professional artists who exhibit together in the village hall as 'Shades of Shipham', you may be interested to hear that they are going on tour!
You can see their latest work at Wells Museum 5th - 16th July and they will be taking turns to steward the exhibition so you will have an opportunity to meet the artists too.
